What we offer in the Parvulari Nostra Senyora

Psychomotor activity

It is through motor activity that the child interacts with the world

In the classroom, in the courtyard,  in any activity of a child there is motor activity in psychomotor sessions we want to give him more motor possibilities and space for free movement, facilitating and allowing a development from static to dynamic, where balance, posture, coordination and agility are aspects that are developed in the child thanks to play and movement

Movement plays a very important role  in the affective, cognitive and social development. At the base of the expression and the communication of the child there is the body   that is why psychomotor sessions allow the child a different expressiveness that can be had in everyday life.

Audio-psycho-phonological method

To be able to speak, read and write correctly it is necessary to discriminate sounds, analyze them and reproduce them through an ear free of any blockage. Therefore, the method of Dr. Alfred Tomatis is based on learning to listen and not just to hear. From the modification of musical frequencies, a neurosensory stimulation is achieved that benefits global development, consolidates laterality, language and emotional maturity, making the child more confident and able to communicate.

It is part of the programming of the boys and girls of the second cycle of infantile.

Speech therapy

Oral language development is a very important milestone in a child’s development and is at the core of future learning such as reading and writing.

Listening to a child, using verbal interaction strategies, developing phonological awareness, developing listening,  hearing discrimination ...

In the classroom as a group or individually when necessary, children in kindergarten receive attention to their language development.

English

The native teacher walks around the school being our reference in a third language, interacting with everyone and in all spaces both in the classroom and in the yard.

READY FOR A STORY is the methodology of Josep Maria Artigal that we have been following in the classroom for years, because it prioritizes the use of language, enhances oral expression, connects with students through stories, sequences common and everyday situations, respecting the maturing moment of each child. Enjoy and learn a lot!

Artistic project

We seek a taste for art, beauty and aesthetics. Through workshops the child can activate the sensations, freely express their creative potential and experiment with different techniques and tools. Develop creativity, discover beauty, space for free artistic expression, recycle materials.

Music

Music accompanies us every day with classroom songbooks, instrument boxes ... while enhancing listening skills, recognition, creativity and a taste for different melodies. We enjoyed the week of music and the making of casserole instruments.
